In light of his massive new contract, he may be one of the best in modern times.

And if he can’t coach, at least we know he can cook.

Honestly Orgeron may have struggled elsewhere but at LSU he speaks their language and seems like an awesome fit. Sometimes a coach and program come together and the coach exceeds most expectations. Maybe Orgeron isn't a good cultural fit for USC or even Tennessee but damn he fits perfectly in Baton Rouge and as an LSU Tiger.

He had a damn good year and recruited lights out. LSU may have struck pay dirt. I'm just saying....

I saw it on Discovery Channel. A show called Fast 'N Loud: Demolition Theater. If you search pallet jack fail gif, it will come up. It's my goto when a thread is a face plant. I'm not sure that I've ever laughed harder in my life than the first time I saw that.

I don't speak anything like that or like Troy Landry on Swamp People. Hate to disappoint.

When your boss is a buffoon and your administration/BOS have no interest in athletics, this is what you get.

Oh, and your fans are too stupid to quit supporting this trainwreck. It's called the perfect storm and LSU is right in the middle of being mediocre for a long time.

I don't think you know what a train wreck looks like. Were you alive in 1994 or before? That and the 6 years that preceded it is what a train wreck looks like. 1999 was a train wreck. I'm sorry, but "only" winning 10 games and the Fiesta Bowl with a #6 finish nationally is not a "train wreck." No, that doesn't mean I'm content or however folks like you tend to respond to statements like this, but you are in dire need of a reality check of what a train wreck actually is. Paying a guy a middle of the road salary in this conference isn't the athletic department doing anything unfathomable or stupid either. Hiring him may have been dumb, but he hasn't proved he sucks yet either.

He can definitely kick the arse out of any other coach you line him up against, I have to say.

I hear what you are just saying but, I'm just saying that he hated LSU so much he left after his first year there to beat it to Northwestern State.

So, it really wasn't a good fit for him in college, just saying.
