• Coming into Saturday’s season finale at Arkansas, the Tide is ranked No. 55 in the latest NCAA NET Rankings (as of March 8) and own the No. 21 overall strength of schedule. Alabama is 9-11 against Quadrant 1 (3-8) and Quadrant 2 (6-3) opponents this year. The nine wins against Q1 and Q2 teams ranks sixth-best in the SEC. The Crimson Tide trails only LSU (16-5), Kentucky (14-5), Tennessee (14-3), Auburn (13-9) and Mississippi State (12-9) in combined Q1 and Q2 victories. Alabama ranks ahead of Florida (7-11), Ole Miss (7-11) and South Carolina (8-13) in the category. Furthermore, The Tide’s six Q2 victories are tied for second-best in the SEC.

• Alabama ranks as one of the better defensive teams in SEC play. Entering Tuesday night’s contest, the Crimson Tide leads the league in three-point field goal percentage defense at 31.2 percent. Additionally, Alabama is fourth in field goal percentage defense(43.4 percent)and sixth in scoring defense(71.6) against conference opponents.

• Alabama owns a 3-2 record against AP Top-25 opponents this season, with all three victories coming during the month of January. Despite the setback, the Tide ranks third in the conference with three top-25 victories this season and winning percentage vs. ranked opponents (.600). Only Kentucky (5-3, .625) and LSU (4-2, .667) rank ahead of UA in both categories. On the season, Alabama has knocked off then-No. 22/21 Mississippi State, 83-79, on Jan. 29, then-No. 13 Kentucky (77-75) on Jan. 5 and then-No. 20 Ole Miss (74-53) on Jan. 22.• Head coach Avery Johnson boasts a record of 14-12 when playing teams ranked in the Associated Press Top-25, including a 3-2 record this season. Johnson had guided the Crimson Tide to a seven-game home winning streak over AP Top-25 competition prior to last Saturday’s loss to then-No. 13 LSU. Despite the setback, the Tide has recorded nine wins in the last 14 overall games played against ranked opponents. His record is even more impressive considering the Tide had lost 21 consecutive games against ranked opponents prior to his arrival. .

• The Alabama reserves have been a strength of this year’s team, averaging nearly 25 points per contest (24.7) entering the contest at Arkansas. For the year, the Crimson Tide bench has been outscored just five times and is outscoring its counterparts by nearly seven points per contest (24.7-17.8). On 13 occasions, the UA reserves owned a double-digit advantage over the opposition’s bench
