re: Split Bank Accounts

Three joint checking accounts. One for bills and family purchases, one each for our personal spending money (if we go out to eat, movie, etc unless it’s a special occasion like a birthday we pay from one of these, usually alternate who pays. Also these are for doing things with friends.) Each have a debit card on the family account and our “personal” account plus she has an Amex for company travel for work. Also we manage finances for one adult child. We use LastPass to manage passwords
