No he's not.

Watch these:

McCaffery HUDL

Shipley HUDL

There's no freaking way anyone can watch those and think they are similar.

McCaffery jukes 4 guys in his first run, then does a spin move and jukes 2 more guys out of their jocks in the second run alone. Then he hurdles 3-4 feet over a guy on a later run.

Shipley doesn't juke but maybe one guy in his entire film, and certainly doesn't spin or hurdle anyone. He's a one-cut and go back who can also catch and can muscle through contact. He has very little wiggle, and certainly nothing remotely close to McCaffery.
