Sounds like this is all still in the negotiation phase so there has to be some benefit to UGA. Getting the extra home game back would be the only reason (at least from my view) and it also resets the home/home issue with Bama.

Playing in a game in November to decided the East like bama/LSU/Auburn have had over the last decade is the goal uga is shooting for in this scenario. The viewing numbers are hard data that can't be ignored. The SEC wants a 2nd option that reflects the West model. uga is comfortable positioning itself in that role.
