Georgia Tech hasn’t made the Tournament since 2010. Georgia last made it in 2015.
Georgia Tech hasn’t won the regular season conference title since 1996, Georgia hasn’t since around that time frame as well
Georgia Tech hasn’t won the conference tournament since 1993, Georgia did in 2008.
No, neither team is that good in basketball but based off those stats UGA gives him a better chance of winning than GT. Georgia Tech isn’t the basketball school they used to be, and Georgia has arguably leapfrogged them as being the premier college basketball team in the state.

When UGA has reached a final 4 AND a title game, then they can leap frog us. And currently, Georgia State is the best program in our state.
UGA has a LONNNNGGGG way to go before they catch the two Atlanta schools
