A wildly popular conspiracy theory about why there are so many Mattress Firm stores is starting to sound less crazy

Have you ever noticed how many Mattress Firm stores there are and how frequently they're located in tight little clumps all near each other?

How little traffic/customers they have?

What are they actually doing there? Murder? Money Laundering? Drugs?

They are laundering money and drugs for the CIA with Mattress Firm being a front company. You would be shocked to learn how many mattresses and mattress components are manufactured in South America.

I agree with suspicion. There are tons of Starbucks but they are always busy.

You never see people in a mattress store. And they almost never go out of business.

Why???

Exactly.

Check this out.

Why would they need to spend this much money?

The singer in my band has a big house in an affluent neighborhood, just put one kid through college and has two more attending now, wife doesn't work, and he doesn't appear to do anything. I asked him one day what he did for a living. He said just a little of this and that. Then he said he used to run a bunch of mattress stores.

Hmmm

I used to work at a high end local mattress store. When a single sale can be be over $2k or $3k you only need a couple of those a week to stay in business. Even in slow months we were still making $20k to $30k, and I'm sure a national chain like Mattress Firm gets a ton more walk in business than we did.

Consider that Mattress Firm was started by three college buddies from Texas and that within 30 years they had more then 3,000 stores and 3.5 billion in income. Selling a product that can easily be found across America.

It is easy to see what happened here. The Texas Cabal behind the JFK assassination needed a secret slush fund to help carry out their plans for world domination and used these three yahoos as their front men.

Preposterous you say? The company that recently purchased Mattress Firm after that very convenient bankruptcy is German based Steinhoff International, a company funded shortly after the JFK assassination. A "furniture" company with ties throughout Europe, America, Asia, and Oceania.

The writing is on the wall, or, in this case, the tag is on the mattress.

This is pretty true even in NYC

And NO one gets their mattresses from there anymore.

Don't feel like clicking the link. Can someone give me what the conspiracy theory actually is?

Oh, and if you need a mattress go to a local, independent shop. Their mattresses are usually better than the big names, and cheaper.

Idk about cheaper, but most definitely better quality. Those places will have cheap options if that's what you want, but on average you'll spend more than a chain like Mattress Firm.

If you want to be cheap and spend a couple hundred bucks on what you'll be sleeping on for probably the next 10 year's you might as well buy from Casper or Purple or one of those online bed-in-a-box companies

But to me, it's more than worth it to spend extra on a mattress. Just last month I got a queen mattress that cost $1500. Best $1500 I ever spent in my life, could not recommend them more.

Just last month I got a queen mattress that cost $1500 from a family owned place called Ensley-Fairfield (no longer located in either of those areas lol) that's been around Birmingham for over 100 years. They have their own line of mattresses you can only get from them. Best $1500 I ever spent in my life, could not recommend them more.

We're actually in the market for a new mattress and planned on going there and Royal Bedding. Royal's prices were pretty reasonable, and cheaper than Bedzz Express, except for the latex ones. $3,000 for a king mattress is a tough pill to swallow.

Latex is worth it though IMO. That thing will still be in good shape 25 years from now if you don't abuse it. They're more comfortable IMO, they stay cool while the memory foam mattresses are really hot, and they're hypoallergenic.

You'll end up saving money in the long run with the long life of a latex mattress.

$3000 sounds pretty cheap for a King latex too. At least that's cheaper than the Talalay brand that I'm familiar with.
