Listen Here

quote:

Mark Shaw is an investigative reporter and author, as well as a former criminal defense attorney and legal analyst. In the first half, he discussed his latest work on the mysterious death of reporter and TV star, Dorothy Kilgallen, who was found dead from an alleged overdose in November 1965 after researching the JFK assassination. She had attended the Jack Ruby trial, and was the only reporter ever to interview him. She was getting herself in danger, Shaw remarked, having written a number of columns against the Oswald-acted-alone theory. Shortly before she died, Kilgallen had informed her friends that "if the wrong people knew what I know about the JFK assassination, it would cost me my life," and that she was buying a gun, and changing her will.

quote:

When she was discovered dead in her townhouse, the autopsy cited an overdose of barbiturates and alcohol but also mentioned "circumstances undetermined," yet there was never any police investigation, Shaw continued. She had a thick investigation file on the JFK assassination and had a contract to write a book for Random House about it, he noted. Shaw, who believes that Kilgallen was poisoned by someone who slipped drugs into her cocktail, named a suspect that is still alive, a journalist she was involved with at the time, who later wrote a poem called "Vodka Roulette," that seemingly refers to the incident.

quote:

Shaw contends that had Kilgallen lived she would have exposed Carlos Marcello as the mastermind behind the JFK assassination as well as provided solid evidence to link J. Edgar Hoover to a major cover-up in the operation. "I think Dorothy Kilgallen probably would have won the Pulitzer Prize for producing the truth about one of the greatest murder mysteries in history," he added.

I don’t usually buy into JFK conspiracy theories, even though it is fertile ground with many rows. But I’m with SECD on this. I’ll be googling some this weekend.

Thanks Pio (even though you’re an evil bunchie).

Why not? It's pretty obvious there was a conspiracy to kill not only JFK but half the people in his entire family along with Martin Luther King Jr, Malcolm X, and several others all right around the same time.

All that shite has the CIAs fingerprints all over it and anyone who isn't totally bought in to the official narrative thinks it's pretty obvious.

I am at work trying to focus on my job, but I keep seeing images of Kevin Costner and JFK floating around in my head.....

My analytical mind requires facts. And I have too much to think about IRL to bother with things that can’t be substantiated with facts.

Well, I wish more people cared. The only thing needing done to allow evil to prevail is for good people to do nothing.

If nobody holds anyone's feet to the fire for this shite, we invite tyrants to run the show.

The oligarchy has run this nation for the better part of the time we’ve been a nation. That’s not a conspiracy. That’s fact.

No mystery to it, they killed her

Government folks would want to make it look normal but the mob would have just popped three 22's in her skull.

You are correct but incorrect in how you got there.

The most inbred folks I have ever met (and spent a lot of my life in AR, KY, and TN) is that east coast corridor crowd. What we label "conspiracy" implies it was done intentionally and with long term planning. The reality is you get a bunch of inbred locals ( NYC, Philly, and Boston) who think the only place in the world is to live where they do (course they summer at the Hamptons, live in Burbs like Greenwich, Far Hills, and Bar Harbor) and have no earthly idea how the 99.9999% of the rest of the USA lives.

Mix trust funds with prep schools and arranged marriages based on social swims and no surprise arrogance and entitlement get added to your normal greed to create a very explosive mix. What we view as conspiracy is just viewing their actions from the outside and thinking real planning went into it (hence the term conspiracy being applied by outsiders).

Best thing would be to disperse those families across the USA (especially the middle of the country) so they could get a better idea of the reality of how the rest of the country lives.

Ok.

I am back out of my rabbit hole. This has all the makings of a murder and a coverup.

But I can’t reconcile the fact that her husband and child were in the home with her when she died. Even a conspiracy nut like me can’t believe the husband was in on it.

Someone keep my suspicions high. I want to believe this.
