Yea - the amount of attention paid to tight ends is really strange, to be honest
I agree. If Gronk and Tony Gonzalez were both in their prime and on this roster, I think we'd find a way to tgt them less than 5 times a game combined.

Not sure why, but it hasn't been a heavily used part of any of CNSs Oc's gameplan. Or, at least it seems that way.

Kiffin and Sark have histories of using the TE at USC and they had some good ones. Unfortunately, at Bama we have only had good QB play and a TE who can stretch the field one season with Irv.

Irv got a lot of passes thrown his way last year. OJ I will agree did not get targeted enough, but if you have 3 or 4 of Jeudy, Ruggs, Smitty, and Waddle on the field what justification is there for throwing to Forristall or Tennison unless someone has straight up forgotten to cover them? If you have multiple elite playmakers at WR the TE is not getting the ball unless he is also an elite playmaker.
