"I'm solid," Ricks said. "I'm solid until something else better comes up..." He cut off 247Sports when asked if his recruitment was close to wrapping up. "Hell nah it ain't!" he said. "Hell no!"
Once IMG's 2019 schedule wraps up on Nov. 1, it's game on with Ricks on the visit trail... USC Nov. 2, Ohio State Nov. 22, LSU Nov. 30. Alabama and Georgia will receive the remaining two (OV) trips. "I'm still scheduling those," he said. He says all five have a shot but a clear pair sits as the top threat to LSU, in two of the last three national champions.
"Ohio State and Alabama are the top two," he said before noting some on-field differences. "Ohio State is a lot more zone... Alabama is kind of more man, some Cover-3, more get in your face type stuff. I can do whatever, but I for sure like playing man more."
"Signing Day I'm going to know," Ricks said. "I'm doing the first Signing Day and enrolling early."
