And every year, CNS mentions the "You Shop, We Shop" and with the idea that he is the 38th DT in Alabama doesn't seem to mean much to him either. If I was the 38th DT in the state and Alabama had allowed me to commit, I would be shutting it down and concentrating on holding my spot.

Meh. I’d imagine this is handled well. His coach is Mike Williams. He played for Saban at Alabama.
