Georgia continues to separate itself from the rest of the #SEC East.

(Combined 2018-2019)
#UGA- 6,524 (11 5*, 30 4*)
#UF- 4,566 (1 5*, 28 4*)
#TN- 4,221 (1 5*, 22 3*)
#SC- 4,112 (1 5*, 17 4*)
#UK- 3,328 (0 5*, 7 4*)
#MZ- 3,170 (0 5*, 3 4*)
#Vandy- 2,864 (0 5*, 5 4*)

Talent gap isn’t closing nearly the way Florida fans are thinking it is. Mathematically speaking, the gap between Florida and Vandy is smaller than it is between Florida and Georgia. Should UGA continue to miss its shot on a title over the next few years, recruiting will likely take a hit and Florida could sneak up the ladder but that’s going to take more than just this year.

Further, this whole “Mullen is a better coach than Smart” assumption is amusing. Last I checked, Kirby has won the conference and a playoff game whereas Mullen hasn’t even made it to Atlanta. Florida is going to get better over the next few years, sure, but who’s to say Georgia has stalled out at its current level and is just waiting for Dan and UF to catch us?
