Mmmmmmmmm, Kentucky?
UCLA was the definition of a dynasty

Kentucky has won 8 with 5 DIFFERENT coaches and 5 DIFFERENT decades
John Wooden won 10 as a singular coach and with the $$$$ help of Sam Gilbert
Wooden started coaching in 1946 at Indiana State (future home of Larry Bird) and went to UCLA in 1948 and in the 1950's had 30% seasons with 10 or more losses. In 1960 he had 12 losses and in 1962 he had 11 losses then Sam Gilbert* aka Papa Sam shows up and suddenly the Bruins are going undefeated or losing a game or 2 a season. Even Bill Walton said he made more money at UCLA than he did in the pros.
Wooden before Gilbert was a respectable ~.650 coach
Wooden with Gilbert became a elite ~.950 coach
* Sam Gilbert on Wik LINK
Sam Gilbert (1913 - November 23, 1987) was an American businessman who owned a construction company in Los Angeles, California. He is best known as a controversial athletic booster of the UCLA Bruins men's basketball team from the mid-1960s until UCLA was ordered to disassociate from him in 1981. He ran a money-laundering enterprise to finance the now-famous World Poker Tour tour stop called the Bicycle Casino, for which he was posthumously indicted in 1987.
Watch a movie called "Blue Chips" for a fictional account of college basketball that might not be so fictional. The team even uses UCLA's colors in the movie. NCAA allows the worst cheaters to get off like Wooden and Smith (worst academic cheating scandal in history originated with Smith) and their competition to get hammered for minor offenses (UK for 1,000 / IU for texting / NCST for accusations in a book that later proved false)
