Also from Webster's Dictionary...
"Nowadays, this sense of dynasty is often applied to a sports franchise which has a prolonged run of successful seasons."
The Patriots are a dynasty and only a fool would say otherwise. In the past 23 seasons, they've been to 10 Super Bowls and won 6 Championships. They tied Pittsburgh for the most titles and currently have a 3 game lead on the most appearances. That is impressive with the same or different players.
If winning the SB is as simple as keeping your HC and players, why aren't all the big money teams (Jets, Bears, 49ers, Washington, and Cowboys) doing it every year? I'd say a large % of NFL coaches get fired, not retire.
