I'm sorry, Triggered Brandon/DSJ’s path to martyrdom

KSGamecock, I am truly sorry for upsetting you to the extent that I did last night.
I didn't realize that board reputation was an integral part of your life, no sarcasm. Yes, I saw your last post before the rescue squad came in and deleted the thread to protect you from embarrassment.
I didn't realize you ran the board and could simply call the owner's private cell phone and have whomever you wished banned.
That scared me straight when you went on that 5000 word, no paragraph, kook rant. It was as if you had something very personal taken from you. As you mumbled about how you had been here seven years and dedicated a good portion of your life to the boards here and how no one, especially not a stupid Bammer, was going to make a fool out of you, etc... I felt bad.
As you screeched about Triggered Brandon this, Triggered Brandon that and talked about how you and the owner of the board took balloon flights together and were best pals and you owned everyone here, I realized you were a true Big Dog.
Forgive me, Triggered Brandon. When I told you I was here to take your spot, I didn't foresee the kook melt and the pitiful spectacle that was about to occur.
I won't be mean to you any longer. We can be friends.

Sometimes, though, a line is crossed and threads have to be deleted and consciousnesses have to be reexamined.
I feel I really hurt someone's feelings last night and, I guess, I'm trying to apologize.
I'm not good at this kind of stuff and it's probably coming off a bit awkward.

Well, you know, it was a shite thread on SEC Rant to begin with. I think the title was something like "WillyT21 doesn't deserved to be banned" or something to that effect.
I don't even remember who started it but, I do know it hit a crescendo at about 2:30 to 3:00AM when it was terminated.
All I did was casually mention how WillyT had thoughtfully created a .gif animation for me, but not for KSGamecock.
Next thing I know, this guy is getting all real life and talking about what these boards mean to him and how I'm not going to take his place. He knows everyone here, can have me banned at the flick of his wrist, and has literally dedicated most of his life, for the past seven years, to being here.
I kind of step back and reanalyze what is happening, you know, because it's weird and doesn't feel right.
When you are just posting and having a good time and you think everyone else is and all of a sudden, some kook posts an unbroken wall of text with about 5,000 words in it, tossing threats around and dropping RL names, it's unsettling.

Actually, I was afraid someone else was and that was the whole point of my thread.
If you had the dishonor of reading that thread last night on SECRant, you would know what I'm talking about.
A poster here lost it and I was apologizing for my involvement in it. It's one of those times when you feel regret for dominating another poster to that extent.

As soon as KSG momentarily lost his sanity and posted such a long thread as to almost break my scroll wheel, the thread was almost immediately zapped.
I read it and then minutes later the thread was evaporated. I feel it was done to protect him, you know.
So, that is good.

The entire thread stayed up a couple of hours and there were a lot of posts in it. Many were between KSG and I.
It was only after his melt post, and it was scary, that the thread was removed.
