Was that announced anywhere? Never saw reasons other than violation of team rules which could be anything.

It wasn’t specifically stated but it’s assumed marijuana because of the length of suspension. Saban’s remarks on the suspension indicated it was drug related. This is what I’ve read I don’t personally know the rules, but suspension for drugs is 6 games while PEDs is a full year and it doesn’t sound like Bama players are suspended for a year although some of those players might not be back.
