As an LSU fan, I'll be frank and tell you why. LSU shite the bed in 2011 when hard headed Les Miles stuck with a pathetic JJ after half time, and we were dealt a humiliating loss at the hands of BAMA, 21-0. BAMA fans, as many as most RANT fans have abused (rightfully so, I might add), the LSU fanbase after the debacle. It actually was the beginning of a clear decline in LSU football, and BAMA has not been shy about rubbing that in our faces.
The fact that another SEC team got routed by 28 points in an embarrassing fashion takes some of the sting off of that 21 point embarrassment. We no longer have the most embarrassing NC loss. BAMA does. And when some of the pompous BAMA contingent starts with their L8U monikers, etc., start chiming in, it's nice to finally have a bit of ammo to fight back. Before that, we had none.
Until we beat you, we will have to live with being your bitch, just as A&M is ours. You just took some of the sting out of the 21-0 embarrassment.
I'm just not sure I understand how LSU plays into the Clemson beat down of Bama in the NC game? Or why LSU is taking such a strong role in toting Clemson's jock strap in an effort to flame Bama fans?
But I suppose you have to use any ammunition (even if it's borrowed) to ease the sting of a loss that was nearly a decade ago.

I personally haven't. In the thread started by the gay Danny Clemson thread, I told him Clemson wouldn't survive an SEC schedule, but gave them props for the win.
The ACC is a joke conference. Clemson would not go undefeated if they played an SEC schedule week in and week out.

Not proud of it, but I have seen 21-0 thrown around on here by BAMA fans more times than I can count. In the very least, that might go away, and we'll just have to deal with the fact that we can't seem to break our loss streak against y'all in regular season play.
And for the record, I was at the Game of the Century and the last time LSU beat BAMA. It's a distant memory, but unfortunately, the last good one I have.

Fans of conference rivals will celebrate losses, not celebrate the other team winning. It's not all that hard to understand. Had LSU lost to UCF, what do you think the reaction from this board would have been? I think it would be fair to say it would have been very similar. Alabama fans just aren't used to being on the receiving end of ridicule.
