The the thing that helps Clemson is how everyone connects the dots and assumes just because the ACC is as "bad" as you believe then Clemson must be overrated. Most people in the English Speaking World had Bama blowing Clemson out....

A conference can be bad with the winner still being very good. It happens all the time; it simply means it takes a long time for people to actually know just how good a team really is.

Not to mention that the wear and tear on a team going against 4* and 5* athletes vs going against 2* and 3* shouldn't be disregarded. It just is what it is. No one says Bowden was a shite coach or that FSU was a weak team when they kept finishing in the top 5 while playing what amounted to a 1 game season in the ACC every year.

The ACC has locked in on P5 status, so you're safe no matter how many times a person points out that the conference is, indeed, weak.

It just is what it is. Everyone saw that when Alabama had to beat a top 5 team to finish the regular season and make the playoffs; Clemson had to beat Pitt.

You can be undefeated and be another ND, or be another Clemson - weak schedules that tell you nothing, then either exposed as a pretender or simply a team that much better than everyone they'll be playing in the foreseeable future.

And for one, I have never said Alabama could beat an NFL team unless the NFL just doesn't give a shite about being in the game. Any NFL team even half-assing a game will destroy any college football team.

How many ranked teams a conference has doesn’t mean shite.

Look at what the teams have done ON THE FIELD against each other instead of some biased ranking system.
