Watching MSU ans LSU. How in the hell did that sumbitch lose to those teams? Not to mention the loss to UT. We had more talent but Gus got out coached, Luckily our talent was way above Purdue.

MSU’s one dimensional offense ran over our defense.

Embarrassing.

Well I've evolved beyond wanting him fired at this point. I just want him to coach aggressively like he did in the bowl. But he probably deserved to at least get junk punched for those losses. Ha!

Like every year for the last six, I am back on the Gus Bus...until I'm not. Now that the die is cast for the 2019 season, I am not going to root against him.

There are multiple things that make a team. Head Coach, QB, skill players, chemistry, blah, blah, blah. When Gus gets out of sync with the team -- which clearly happened this season -- this can overshadow roster talent, especially in such a competitive conference.

I hope Gus has his groove on in 2019. He looked different coaching in Nashville. Like there are different QB styles (dynamic, game managers, etc.), there are different kinds of coaching styles. Gus' style is control freak. I think a series of mediocre seasons led to tweaks that ultimately put the 2018 team out of his control and out of his comfort zone.

All that said, given his style, I hope Gus is even MORE controlling in 2019. I hope he sweats every single detail. Maybe that yields us a fantastic 2019.

No down vote here. You are spot on. It's embarrassing to lose those 3 games

Iowa's pathetic offense has now scored 24. GusShortBus could only kick 3 field goals

The most dangerous game in the world is when a team with NFL talent isn't playing for a single goal. No title, no 10 wins, etc...The NFL guys go through the motions all game while the team they are playing has a bus load of guys playing in their last football game before they become insurance salesman, teachers and DOT employees. Do the math.

Joe Moorhead performed coaching malpractice this season... took a 10-win roster (stacked front 7, good OL, recorded setting Sr QB) and lost 5 games... pretty pathetic.

That’s probably the best roster Miss St’s ever fielded (when you combine experience with talent)... and they wasted it.

We threatened to fire Gus. We are a mess. An embarrassment. Auburn is to be laughed at.

Which usually means 15-0 next season. 14-1 I mean. We are playing at Baton Rouge.

Didn't even throw the ball to their best player until late in the 4th either

Ferentz was trolling

Shitty play caller who only called screen passes.

Say what you want about Purdue, Gus threw the ball down the field more than we saw all year.

Don't forget Whitlow was averaging 10 yards a carry in that game, and GusShortBus stops giving him the ball
