Does anybody agree with putting Stidham out wide there? What does it accomplish? It's not fooling anyone. Stidham isn't particularly athletic to suddenly make a great move as a receiver.
This is why Gus is inferior.
I will eat crow if we ball out next year. But it's those little stupid quirks that lost us games over his tenure.

The offensive play calling has been very good. Great mix. Gives me hope that Gus is getting his groove back

I always thought we only put Stidham out wide so we didn’t substitute, meaning we don’t have to allow the defense to substitute.

Purdue backs are not giving it extra effort on any run. They've gone to ground or the sidelines on a number of plays.

Happy to reply to this. Its because the defense see's the QB in the game when they bring their personnel on the field. If they see him go off then they would bring in different players and most likely have a different play call.
