One article actually said he would try to get a waiver if he transfers, so he can play. I don't know what he could base it on, or even if it is true.

Why? I mean, it's not like Alabama has not had their share of QB's and RB's transfer.

Just looked it up. Alabama has had 12 QB's transfer since Nick Saban became coach.

If Fields is worthy of snickers, i would think 12 transferring would be worthy of laughing out loud. (Not sure if there is a candy bar named that, though)

Except that it is hard to laugh at a program that has won 5 NC's in the Saban era. However it is easy to laugh at a program that has only won 1 SEC Title in the same span.
