Because OU allowed an average of 200 yards-per-game (5.48 YPC) to its last three P5 opponents who's average offensive rush ranking is 83.

Conversely, Alabama has rushed for an average of 141 yards-per-game (4.43 YPC) against its last three P5 opponents who's average rush defense ranking is 26.


Additionally, (if we get to be picky) I'm not sure where your getting your stats, but Alabama has rushed for a total of 422 yards - not 417 - against its last three P5 opponents.




I only included rushing stats because you only asked about rushing stats, but you have to understand (surely) that rushing and passing stats are somewhat related. Hint: the reason Alabama's rushing stats aren't "stellar" are because Alabama is ranked 7th in the nation in passing offense...who needs to run a ton when you can average 325 yards-per-game with a yards-per-attempt of 11.3???
