If the SEC continually had its conference champion left out the playoffs I would want the system changed too.

Quite frankly, you cant really call it a National Championship Playoff when you arent ensuring at least 1 representative from each conference. There arent enough big cross-conference games during the regular season to truly know

Some years yes, some years no.

You can argue a lot in college football, but nobody on the planet thinks PAC12 champ Washington is the best team in college football this year.

Actually we can....and do. I mean, we crown the super bowl winner the best team in football though other places do play football (as we do in the States...not futbol) same can be said of the world series winner. Heck there are Japanese college football teams left out Absolutely no friggin way Pitt should have been in the playoff had they managed to win in Charlotte. Same with NW.

It's not inclusion via participation - that is what conferences are for. Teams should actually be ...really really elite
