Even I have to admit that at the time, I thought Tebow was the greatest to ever play the college game, and he is a once in a lifetime figure. He broke through so many barriers including being an underclassman Heisman winner. He had great players around him, but so does everyone else who is considered great.
Tebow did things we never saw before. He willed his team to win games. He made first downs when it was impossible. He made incredible throws in key situations. He ran over linebackers. He was different, special, and one of the greatest players ever.
Now, his pro career is another story. But, you can't minimize what he did in college just because you don't like him or just because he played for those damn Gatas.

This thread only confirms how overrated he is. Too much emphasis on intangibles, and not enough on performance.
