Why do they keep putting Oklahoma in the national championship/playoffs just to lose?

Oklahoma is really good at winning in the weak arse Big 12. When they face real teams in the post-season, they lose.
So why do we continue to let them in?
Yeah, eventually they'll win, but they're just perpetually bad when it comes to the post-season.
Let other, more deserving teams in the playoffs, like UCF.
Chokelahoma will live up to their name yet again.
Oh well, Congrats Bama.

They came close to making the championship last year.

Ok.... that means nothing.
They're 0-5 in BCS National Championship games and College Football Playoffs game since 2000.
Again, they're just a perpetual door mat. The problem in college football is we don't have a baseline. So Oklahoma just gets in based on name after they run through an easy schedule.

The Big 12 and Pac 12 have no place in the CFP

So who do “we” put in? Georgia with 2 losses and an immediate rematch with Bama? tOSU not a bad choice but you SECers love to focus on the Purdue loss? Michigan? UCF? A 3-loss team?
Provide alternatives so we can all laugh.

Sour grapes I see. Oklahoma wins and earns a chance to play for it all. You win some and you lose some. Don’t blame OU for the league they’re in. It is what it is.

They should have let UCF in. The Big 12 and the AAC have the same level of talent. UCF actually went undefeated 2 years in row against against an equally talented league.
Big 12 is the only "power 5" yet to win a single playoff game.
It's a talentless conference propped up by 2 brand names and a TV contact.
In 2017 the Big 12 had only 14 players drafted to the NFL between all 10 teams. The AAC had more players drafted.
In 2018 the Big 12 had 20 players drafted while the AAC had 18. Very similar leagues as far as talent.
OU's brand name is the only reason why they are in the playoffs and why their players win Heismans while putting up fake stats in a league devoid of talent.

Sounds like you’re making an argument for UCF over OU.

I want to be like Vanderbilt!

Dude you really love slinging around the conference draft picks as the main factor of strength of an individual team. Well IMO a league is only as strong as their weakest link.
So tell me Mr or Mrs Vanderbilt, why hasn’t your team produced significant NFL talent?

Vanderbilt produced Skip Bayless. That’s their championship.

Vandy damn near beat Notre Dame this year in Southbend ...

Here’s to moral victories!

Vanderbilt has as many 9 win seasons since 2012 as t.u., Texas Tech, Kansas and Iowa State combined.

I admit the rest of the country probably wouldn't want to see this but at least it wouldn't be a blowout like OU is about to get.

Oklahoma knows a thing or two about moral victories.
"We were this close to playing in the national championship this year."
"We barely lost to Texas in our first loss this year."
The committee messed up. They could have had 4 undefeated teams in the playoffs this year. Instead we get to see Chokelahoma get murdered by Alabama...... again.

Vanderbilt would be middle of the pack talent wise in the Big 12.
I know it rubs you wrong that OU beats up on a bunch of teams with G5 level talent.
I'm just educating the masses who don't seem to understand that OU puts up fake stats every year against a bunch of kids that will have to go and get real jobs.
NFL players by conference on opening day.
SEC 335
Big Ten 239
ACC 228
Pac-12 210
Big 12 123
American 100
Pathetic lol. Obviously much closer to the G5 than it is to the rest of the power 5.
An asterisk needs to be placed next to all of OUs accomplishments.
2017 draft pick by Conference and per team.
SEC 53 3.79
ACC 43 3.07
Pac-12 36 3
Big Ten 35 2.5
AAC 15 1.25
Big 12 14 1.4
Pathetic.

Or I guess OU can be like Florida and lose to FCS teams.

Dude I just owned you in you GA top 5 post. Don’t really care what you think about friggin
draft picks. Keep living off other’s accomplishments. Shows what fans support their team and what fans suck off of Bama.

Since you went there:
Vanderbilt has 122 draft picks in its history. That's more than Iowa State.
Since conference realignment in 2011, here's how it stacks up:
Vanderbilt - 11
Kansas State - 11
Texas Tech - 8
Kansas - 5
Iowa State - 4
Our "weakest link" has as many or more players drafted than almost half of the teams in your conference since 2011.
