Alabama scored exactly 24 on Miss St. OU's defense sure as hell isn't going to pitch a shutout like Bama did. So, OU scores 30 on MSU. They give up 40 to Fitz and company. Scoring is only half the game of football. THe SEC West plays the other half (defense) far better than Big12 creampuffs. OU isn't the scoring machine you imagine playing in the SEC. Good? Yes. But not the juggernaut they appear to be.

According to the NCAA website, The SEC had 9 teams ranked in the Top 50 total defenses. Meanwhile, Big 12 only had 2 and they were TCU and Iowa State

Yeah, heard that in 2008, no chance UF would be able to outscore OU. Funny what happens when you play a team with a defense (meaning not a B12 team). What was OU's average scoring that year? Lead the nation at 50.7. They got 14.
