What up, OT? What’s everyone doing on this rainy Saturday in the South?

In NO and about to go eat lunch at Felix’s and knock out some Christmas shopping.

I am currently contemplating why I ever decided to move back to the mainland after living in the tropics for 5 years.

This weather is pissing me off. (So I guess I am angry. Lol) There is a thin layer of ice on everything here in NWA. Gay.

Yeah-I’m a big fan of tropical weather. At least it’s in the high 50’s down here.

What’s the snow forecast in NWA?

Eh. I'm not even sure. They predicted some shite for yesterday and it never materialized. No snow or anything anyways. Woke up this morning to probably 1/10th of an inch of ice all over my truck.

I hear a tale that we may get some snow, but I'm not buying it. It's just gonna be fricking miserable up here. Wet and cold.

Going to get started on a cheat sheet for one of my finals, have to do a project by tomorrow for another class, and two more study guides to complete.

I’ve got to do some work this afternoon in the hotel room. Sucks.

Yes it does! I'm still not around yet. Got some love and sleep in time, now need to get started before time disappears. Shower, food run, and then study time!!

Best thing to do in that case is find you a little side honey and get her to do your work for you in exchange for sex and drugs.

It's actually quite opposite, my wife needs help with one of her classes too. Probably why she gave me sex.

The one disadvantage I can think of for NWA, other then being a long drive from the coast, is that you will get some nasty weather in the winter.

Its a bit cooler in the summer then most of the South, but you pay that back with what tends to be a dreary winter.

Depends on the summer really. I remember like two summers ago when we got like 5 days in a row where the heat index approached 110°.

We get the worst of both worlds here in NWA. Small price to pay for living in such a beautiful area though.

I’m a fan of NWA and the entire Ozark area in both states. We used to vacation on the Jacks Fork River in the MO Ozarks and those clear, cold rivers and springs and cliffs were like a wonderland to a boy from the delta.

Yep. And the funny part of it is when you grow up here, all the great parts about it you take for granted. I used to spend hours out on the Kings river as a kid always wondering what it would be like to live in an area where there is cool shite to do.

These days I plan out months in advance to be able to take week long retreats on that very same river.

I’ve always wanted to float the Kings River. It looks pretty amazing. How’s the smallmouth fishing on it?

I have been sitting in my house playing Smash Ultimate with my son for about 5 hours.

Great new game.

My wife just shakes her head at us. Too bad he is too young to drink beer. Then we might stay inside for 24 hours straight
