Stokes slides right in where Baker left off.

I'm all for beign optimistic but that's simply not very realistic. Baker could make a case for being a top 3-4 CB we've ever had in school history, a current TFr who has seen meaningful time in about 5-6 games isn't just going to replace him without missing a beat.

Wtih that said I do like our CB situation all things considered. You have to assume campbell will make natural progression, Stokes does look very good, and we still haven't really seen much out of Webb yet.

Stokes is a sophomore. And he came on this season just like Baker did during his sophomore campaign (beating out a starter). If you look at the pff player grades, stokes is right behind baker in the secondary.

Trust me. He will handle his side of the field.
The question is if Campbell (who lost his job to stokes) can improve next year as a sophomore. He has been picked on. He is in position, but his skill breaks down as the ball approaches. Being a 5 star, there is a good opportunity that he can improve in his sophomore campaign.
