But they're the 4th best team in college football this year, without question.

Do you think UGA would beat ND, OU, or OSU? Because I do.

If we throw away the list from the previous week and start from the ground up like the playoff committee says they do, then the 4th best team....

Georgia

With Kirby Smart on the sideline? Absolutely those teams could beat Georgia

On the field results have to matter. When comparing resumes, ND, Ohio State, and Oklahoma are head and shoulders above Georgia.

Georgia lost by 20 to LSU.

ORLY?

Let's look at OU, OSU, and UGA resumes heading into yesterday.... whose resume was the best?

Losing a close game to the #1 greatest team of all time won't drop UGA from the 4th spot.

How epic will the Auburn melt be when UGA is the first 2 loss team to get in?

ND, Clemmons, and Bama obvious. The 4th? Not so obvious.

You're in for an extremely difficult morning.

UGA had their shot and it didn’t work out. 2 loss team and no conference championship should not get in. OK lost to 9-3 Texas in regular season. UGA lost to 9-3 LSU in regular season. OK won their conference title with one loss. UGA lost their conference title with 2 losses. OK gets in. UGA is first out.

Now if you want to argue ND not getting in due to no CCG then maybe but they are undefeated and won’t be left out.

The problem with this logic is nobody thought uga could keep it to one score last night, but they did. The decision should be based on what happens on the field not how someone or some committee "feels".

Any team that lost to the shrimp boat captain by 20 is auto DQd from playoff contention.
