Manziel didn't exactly play with scrubs on that 2012 team.
OL - Luke Joeckel (1st round)
OL - Jake Matthews (1st round)
OL - Jarvis Harrison (5th round)
OL - Cedric Ogbuehi (1st round)
RB - Christine Michael (2nd round)
WR - Ryan Swope (6th round)
WR - Mike Evans (1st round)
3 1st round picks on the OL, a top 10 pick at WR and a 2nd round pick at RB. Pretty talented supporting cast he had there.
Both are great college QBs. I'd probably take Tua, but Manziel was an incredible college football player.

JFF was kinda like Vick for me though. Electric, amazing, game changing, but not really someone you were confident could win titles or lead a team.
I feel like Tua is the more mature player with a higher ceiling in that regard, but it's hard to consider him in a vacuum outside of the machine Saban has built
