You made the "changing of the guard" comparison to 2009 Florida

Let's look at that one more time...

2009 Florida
So Bama pulled an upset of the favored Florida Gators to dethrone them and go on to win a National Championship in 2009... rightfully staking claim to the new Top Dog of the Conference.
What does that have to do with Florida in 2010, 2011, 2012, or any year after that?

Because, now try and stay with me, if Florida had come back and regularly competed for and won SEC Championships in some of 2010, 2011, 2013, etc. - said "changing of the guard" wouldn't have really happened because Bama wouldn't have been the new undisputed top dog of the conference.
There would just be more parity, which is the way it may be trending with UGA vs. Bama in the years to come - although that really still isn't actual parity.
