That’s suck cause my father played for him.. and guess what?? We’re black buddy. Like sharpie burnt popcorn black. My father credited him for the man he is today.. and speaks nothing but good things about him. The man hated weakness and pushed for greatness. You would fail his test

I've seen Sylvester Croom well up in tears talking about Bryant and his influence 30 years after his death. Race was irrelevant to Bryant. There's a reason that those who played for him still revere him.

The man did love his Jack Daniels, though.
