My babysitter refused to take an offering of MSU Cheese...wtf

Wife and I spent the weekend in Asheville, got home, talking to weekend sitter who is a sweet , smart, responsible recent BAMA grad.
I then remember, my cheese order had been delivered Saturday. I say, “ Oh! Hang on, I’ve got something I’m gonna give you.” Go to porch, get two big boxes off the porch, Break it open, and hand her a box of Edam. At first she recoils because of the MSU label. No, my wife and I say...it’s cheese, it’s good, and wife proceeds to explain the greatness of MSU cheese.

I have to leave to go get our dog from the kennel where he boarded for the weekend.

When I get back, wife says, Suzy(name changed) didn’t want the cheese, and didn’t even take it. W IN THE TOTAL F? Wife says Suzy said it was the weirdest gift she’d ever gotten...or been offered.

Hour later, I text my Ole Miss friend and neighbor tell him I’m bringing him something at Saints half time and he’s grateful of my gift of MAFES cheese.

Really disappointed in my millennial sitter whom I otherwise love.
