It should come down to:
A) No Confidence Gus can lead this program.
B) You believe Gus can right the ship.

The buyout should not influence this decision. It is not any cheaper to pay Gus a couple of years and then make a decision.

Gus being employed by Auburn in 2019 is a reflection of these things IMO, either one or both:

- We can’t afford the buyout
-Leath doesn’t want egg on his face

To me, he has already lost the fan base. Bite the bullet and rip the bandaid off.
