that's silly, especially for point guards. they're a part of the picture and waters is apparently significantly better in that regard. i think harper is really good. he's just not as good as waters. i just don't think he's capable of doing the miraculous things waters has on his highlight reel; the block against houston, the michigan layup, the a&m buzzer beater, etc. his passes are the closest thing to magic johnson i can recall seeing in a lonnnnnnng time

We all have a little homer in us, but this guy is the closest thing you’ve seen to Magic, passing wise, in a long time? Seriously? And steals aren’t really a good way to judge how good a player is defensively. It just means he’s good at stealing the ball.
