re: SEC Trivia - Which 4 teams played the 1943 Season?

I think this was the thick of the gearing up and mobilizing for the war. December ‘41 was Pearl Harbor and we attacked Japan in the Marshall Islands the next month, but D-Day wasn’t until June ‘44 so I would imagine we didn’t know how long we would be at war and everyone tried to throw freshman out there and keep a team together in ‘42. Why we played in ‘44 is a mystery to me.
