The difference between last year is the opportunity to lose close games this year. Even though the win-loss ratio is likely to be one, maybe two games different. Mizzou was in all the games this year except one.

I'm usually bullish on Mizzou compared to the college football consensus.

I think Mizzou wins out the rest of the regular season. But I don't believe that is a reason to be bullish.

Even without seeing the opponent, I am expecting a L in the bowl game.

I believe that "close" is setting up a false expectation of improvement and a false expectation of where you currently are as a team. I don't think you are close to beating good teams not led by Felipe Franks.
