gotta win in Stillwater to start.
Gamecocks will need to sweep Georgia & Texas AM. that's 9 SEC wins. beat Ole Miss, Arkansas & Alabama - all at home - and finish 12-6 in league play. win 2 games in the SECT.
19-13 with bad loses being @Wyoming, Pickens Tech and I'm conceding @Missouri as a WTF game.
Providence needs to crank it up a bit in the Big East. Stony Brook is tied for 1st in their Conf and has 16 wins overall. Wofford will finish its reg season with 26 victories and win its bid into the NCAAT. Michigan & Virginia will remain Top 10 teams (barring injury) all season.
it will be interesting to see if Minaya decides to return at all this season. Bryant has brought an athleticism as an angry rim rocker we haven't seen since Balkman. he reminds me of a slightly (2") shorter Stacey Augmon/UNLV from way back in the day

I kinda think Bryant reminds me of a slightly shorter Chris Silva, but without the fouling. He does foul, but not in the machine-gun fashion that Silva has been known to do. And he is after all a freshman.
But I agree the best we should HOPE for is national titles, but realistically after last season, and the way this team looked to start this season, reaching the NIT would be a major positive, and a step in the right direction for this team.
But I will gladly accept reaching the NCAAT if at all possible: the team has gotten top 25 ranking votes and bracketology consideration in recent days, so lets see where this all takes us. I know that past tournament selection committees have taken how teams finished their seasons into strong consideration in picking teams - if we're able to finish with a .500 or better SEC season, in a supposedly stronger SEC this season, and not just bow out in the SECT after one game, we may sway some of those folks into our camp. One game at a time....
