I think some folks have misinterpreted the OP.

The Bama Staff does not want the media trying to create a narrative that if Devin White had played the entire game, LSU could have won the game.

So instead of shutting down the offense in the second half like they have all season, they plan on keeping the pedal to the floor for four quarters to crush any "If only Devin White had played" narrative.

(They dont want another "if only Colt McCoy wouldn't have gotten injured" narrative to listen to for ten years)

Again, the word from the Bama camp is Saban does not like the sportmanship being displayed from some of the folks in Louisiana, and the media there. There are some in the Bama camp that feel Saban deserves more respect than to be implicated in having a player ejected in a game to give his team an advantage. (pure delusion)

There is no secret weapon, and they are not planning on "trying harder" in the second half. They are simply not planning on shutting down the offense until the clock strikes zero, and asses have been made to quit.

You can't be serious.

As a Bama fan, I feel like this is something that Saban probably has allocated less than 30 seconds of his time thinking about

I think fans think this. I find it hard to believe that CNS truly gives a schit about all of that peripheral "clutter."

And, I'm certain he isn't risking Tua one more play or series outside of whatever predetermined score/game situation is required.

Then they're REALLY going to hate the "LSU won without Devin White for the first half" narrative.
