You can accomplish the same thing by simply not huddling. Are you suggesting Bama doesn’t incorporate the no huddle?

Throw in all the speed sweeps and trick plays and walla.

And the RPOs, and the read option. All of a sudden we are straying from just the up tempo aspect.

....Which is what Auburn and many other teams do.

The hurry up aspect of the offense isn't incorporated on every play. It is generally used after a 10+ yard gain to seize momentum and keep the defense on their heels. They keep up the tempo until the defense stops them for a minimal gain. The tempo then slows until another big play occurs.

We very rarely go no huddle. We change personnel quite frequently.

You seem set on which part of the original Gus system was called "gimmicky". I told you what it was (and that I didn't agree with it, frankly).

Again, for the 347th time, our offense does not resemble the 2010/2013 Auburn offenses in almost any way. We don't run read option, our pass tree concepts are about 60 times as complex, we don't use a fullback and we don't use hurry up. Literally the only comparative aspect is that we have an aspect of RPO in our game, though it differs quite a bit from the Auburn version.
