but Bama has sold out on big boy football and decided to run a gimmick offense.

Bama didn't sell out on it, the SEC didn't sell out on it. The NCAA and the rest of the country changed the rules of the game creating a big disadvantage for teams playing Big Boy football. They basically destroyed the way we like to watch and play the game, and now the game is shite.

So what Bama, Georgia and most all other teams are doing now is adjusting to show the rest of the nation what happens when the SEC 'catches up' to the weak and boring play style of football based on soccer player health.

The game is all about playing as fast as possible now, taking advantage of the rules to punish the defensive as much as possible. Whereas the goal was to hold the offense to less than 10 points.. now it's to keep them under 50.

I'm kind of glad that we are now seeing Alabama catch up to this style of play.. when we get into the playoffs and see them score 50 to 100.. maybe then people we stop and wonder if Saban has a point.. is this really what we want football to become?

At the current rate, we will probably start seeing 100+ points scored as the norm in the next couple years.
