It was a pretty wet field most of the night with a strong rain storm early. Not surprised LSU took the very conservative approach.

Especially considering MSU was not a threat to score more than 7-10 points. That was the kind of game Saban would play against LSU and MSU in the past. I wouldn't read too much into LSU's game last night.
