But all honesty I agree with those who mentioned it. If you are going to pull your starters at least get the backups some playing time with actual real plays. Let them run the offense because it is not like they have not practiced it all week while getting reps.
I am not sure why Saban has to be nice no one actually thinks he is outside of TTown.

Saban is too old school to even pretend like he is running up the score. Basically it is just a waste of precious game time for the back ups and even Jalen Hurts.
I mean what is the point of putting in MAC,a passing QB,and not letting him throw even on fourth downs? Did not even try to kick a field goal with our shaky kicker!
Coach Bryant use to do this but that was a different era.
