To be honest, historically, mobile quarterbacks have really hurt us in the past decade. We play much better defense against 'conventional' offenses -- run heavy, pass when you have to. I had asked if Fields would be considered vs. LSU because we completely got them on the speed option.

I guess they thought Fields wasn't ready. But the time is very close when Kirby needs to throw him into the fire. It might be ugly at first, but he's making choices right now that affect more than just this season. Fromm's stats this season looked good prior to Saturday, but if you watched him play he's regressed since the last half of 2017. I don't know what to expect vs UF, but something has to change.
