It would seem that the consensus is that Smart is intentionally not agiving the team the best opportunity to win. If this is so then the only conclusion is that Smart is not head coach material.......he doesn’t have the ability to judge talent or he is intentionally not playing the better QB for reasons other than performance on the field. Are y’all therefore saying a coaching change is in order? Is it more a case of Smart just isn’t as good a coach as he looked like last year? Is it still a work in progress and last year was just alignment of stars?

Here’s my hot take. Fromm is a game manager....he has only lost one game due to his playing while starting at UGA....this weeks game. The Auburn game last year was a team effort. Fromm was very fortunate to have Chubb and Michelle. We could run the ball last year and did. The difference in the LSU game is we could run the ball.....but DIDNT. We attacked the strength of the LSU defense instead of forcing them to respect the running game....why is anybody’s guess but it’s what we did.

Anyone who really thought we go through this year unbeaten was delusional. Last years team was one of if not the best team we’ve ever had....they lost BAD at Auburn. Going 7ndefeated in CFB is damned hard, especially in the SEC. That said our refusal to run the ball when LSU was conceding the run is the controversy......the Fields Fromm debate is a distraction but our insistence to dive at the centers ankles continually when it isn’t working and then refusing to do it when it is is just ridiculous. I don’t know I’d that’s on Chaney or Smart but ultimately it’s on the latter....hopefully Chaney has been read the riot act by now.....because that’s why we lost the game. Fromm was shitty but we had an out that wasn’t fields throwing the ball every play...we just refused to take it....

That is not the consensus at all. I just think he’s making a mistake. That isn’t an indictment of him. He’s human. I could be wrong for the same reason.

Saban made the same mistake last year. Guess he isn’t head coach material.
