I seem to remember reading that you have to win 6 FBS games but I could be wrong.

Just recently FSU was technically not eligible because one of their wins was against FCS. Still made it to a bowl.

I thought I heard if you had two FCS teams on your schedule only one can count. Liberty is FBS though.

FCS wins don't count, but we'll get in with a waiver from the NCAA. Auburn in a bowl game is much more profitable than passing us over for a mid-major. You can get into a bowl with only 5 total wins depending on how many bowl eligible teams are available.
