I'm pretty sure we could lose every game remaining this season, and next season, and he would still be the coach in 2021. If we fire him after 2021,the buyout is only a meager 16 million dollars, lol so most likely he is around for 2022 no matter what happens as well. But I do think we could lose every game remaining this season, every single game in the 2019 season, and at the start of 2020 he will still be at the helm.

Like I said in January. Gus might’ve locked Auburn down (and not vice versa,) but he never fully left the hot seat after finishing 0-2. The contract was awfully perplexing.

Anyone know our largest buyout we have had to pay a coach?

Gus will NOT get fired no matter what the record this year. Cost to great.

If he doesn't' have a better year next, then i feel it will be 51-49 he will be fired. Stidham will leave, and we don't know how well our QBs wil play. Nix will not be the starter.

In 2020 if he doesn't win the SEC, he will be fired.
