Sitting here working on Sunday. Bitter I missed the game last minute but..I've watch the video of Mullen pumping up the crowd probably forty times. That shite is keeping me from losing my mind.

We heard for years he hated UF. His wife hated UF. I don't believe it.

This man loves this place. That energy can't be faked. That is all real. This man loves being a Gator. Good things are coming. It's clear he can do big things. His record vs ranked teams seemed worrisome, but he was at a bad program he made look better than it was. He already has two ranked wins at UF. Including a top five. This man is our guy.

I know some of y'all didn't like the hire. I was happy with it despite my obvious want for Kelly. Very glad I was wrong.

We've got our guy. He wears the visor. He walks off the plane chomping. He brings back heroes of the past. This man gets it. The Swamp is alive again. It was drained but damn..Mullen went mother nature and revitalized it last night. Only sad I couldn't be a part of it.

The good news is my GF got to go. Gave my ticket to one of her best friends. So now her best friend is sold on UF football, as is my GF who is a student there. Both girls have lived a bad Gator life so far. Now they have seen what The Swamp truly is. Great shite man. Warms my heart.

Tl DR - Mullen is the man. Love this guy. No homo.

Amen past the ammo. I am totally on the Mullen train. He has a hate for losing...which is what made Spurrier great as a UF coach. I wont go into details...but I talked to Spurrier back in 1979 when he was a QB coach for his old UF OC at Ga Tech...I told Spurrier I hoped someday he would be the HC at UF. In 2006 before the season began I reminded him of that talk.

Actually we had another HC who loved UF in Muschamp, who was loved by the admin....but it became clear he had to go after the 2014 season...he just had bad luck hiring OCs. And he could be hard headed.

Mullen will lead us to hardware for display cases soon. Im 71 now so I don't have the ability to wait too long. I don't think I will have to. Been blessed to be a Gator and have seen many great games and individual feats. Even in losses.

Amazing how fast things change...

Things looked so bad when we lost to UK, people were losing faith in Mullen and Franks. Now they have gotten us to wins over 2 top 25 teams and Gator football is starting to be fun again.

Kajun, I have learned not to panic after a loss...just don't do it. Now if we lose to UGA...I would be depressed and all....but still happy about our direction.

I am getting on board as well. TBT, I was less than thrilled over the hire. I thought it was solid but not great. He is making a believer out of me. The team looks like it is much better coached and even disciplined, which hasn't happened around here in a while.

Yes there seems to be a severe lack of backbreaking personal foul calls this year
