For those who think it’s only us and blame 2015. Sadly, people and students don’t want to go to games like they used to.

Honestly, 11 am ( on a Saturday morning ) is really early for college kids, as i recall. Unending bathroom lines, spotty wifi and, and lack of reasonable amenities are common conditions around cfb.

Arkansas had fairly spotty attendance yesterday at home against the number 1 team in the country. I've seen a lot of games the last two years where there were quite a few empty seats.

I think the stadiums are starting to get too big for the fan bases of most teams. Sure Alabama is mostly going to have huge crowds but its the state religion there.

If you are a team like Missouri, Arkansas, or Ole Miss then I think it would be better to have 55k jam packed into the stadium then it would to have 60k in a stadium built for 72-75k.

You also have to factor how many fewer kids are playing football in general. A lot of parents have concerns about concussions and overall safety. After a decade of decilining middle and high school participation, you have declining interest in the game in general.
