In my LSU law school class we had 2 Alabama alums. One is a great guy, great college football fan, and overall a fun and good natured human being who i still keep in touch with. The other was an absolute clown who wore Bama gear to class and acted exactly like you said, personally special in some way bc he was an a Alabama fan. he came to the 1L lottery for LSU tickets wearing Alabama gear and talking shite. And then wondered why he had trouble making friends, he transferred out after 1L year.

it was an perfect microcosm of the Alabama fanbase.

Every fanbase in the south is like this. Go to Gulf Shores and every single person is in purple and gold and theyre running their mouths to anyone that will listen.
